8a Certification for small disadvantaged businesses
In the US alone there is 6 million minority based business,
but less than .01 of them have joined in SBA’s 8a Certification plan. This is an incentive- based program to
support the operations and profitability of small businesses that are socially
and economically disadvantaged. It is not a good idea to overlook the benefits.
8a Certificate
when approved/awarded to any firm provides it a competitive advantage in
government procurement. It is mandated for a lot of agencies to reserve
opportunities for small businesses. This gives the disadvantaged business to
expand and grow in the authenticated sector. 8a Business also allows them to own sole source contracts if they
are listed with GSA’s certification.
These sole -source contracts have a whopping $4 million ceiling for goods and services and for manufacturing it is $6.5 million for manufacturing. 8a Business by GSA is exclusively for small disadvantaged businesses; they should not miss the opportunity to enter the mainstream market of America and do business to earn revenue and achieve goals to their potential.
Mrs. Linda McMahon is the25th Administrator of the US SBA by the US Senate. She urges and wants these businesses to participate and attain the certification.
There are a few eligibility criteria for the company wants
